On March 26th, 2010, our son Joshua Levi Campbell was born prematurely (at 30 weeks) with CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia), Down Syndrome, ASD and Meconium Peritonitis. He passed away just 16 days later on April 11th, 2010. Cherubs is a great organization which gave us a great deal of information regarding the CDH birth defect as well as many resources to keep us going. They have helped many families with children that have suffered from the same birth defect. Currently, the survival rate with children born with CDH is 50% and there is not enough research that goes into this terrible birth defect. This is where Cherubs comes in. They raise money for funding CDH research, raising CDH awareness and supporting CDH families! Their overhead is also only 8% so $0.92 of every dollar goes directly to helping fight CDH!
