The aircraft carrier HMS Elizabeth has returned to Portsmouth after a £100m classified jet it was carrying crashed into the sea last month.

The vessel was greeted by a message from the Queen, who said that she was pleased to hear of the important work it had undertaken in building relationships with more than 20 other nations during the seven-month voyage.
