All stories are love stories. And all love stories are about the quest for wisdom.

Wisdom goes by many names. She is known as the Divine or Sacred Feminine. Others call her Sophia, Gaia, the Dyad, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Grail, the Shekinah glory of God, or even a princess in a castle.

Those that seek control often vilify her as a dragon, Leviathan, alien, or the whore of Babylon. Many reduce her to a temptress in a red dress.

Regardless of her form, the journey to find her takes the Hero across the corpus callosum (the "red sea") from the logic of the left hemisphere of the brain and into the mystery and chaos of the right. This alchemical marriage brings healing and wholeness, not just to the Hero, but the entire world.

But the journey to the underworld (or subconscious) is perilous. It requires the Hero coming to terms with the understanding that everything they know is wrong. Only those who rebel from the Ordinary World are found worthy enough to enter between the pillars and find their True Selves.
