This box pressed 6x52 stick features a dark brown mottled wrapper with a firm even pack, small veins, tight invisible seams, large triple cap and pungent sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with heavy damp straight tobacco and earth notes followed by a big black pepper flavor without the zing or spice through the long full finish. The first third mellows a bit to a medium body keeping the same deep profile. The 1/2 way point comes at 45 minutes with excellent construction, a perfect draw and burn dropping the ash in a large chunk. Flavors drop the straight tobacco adding a touch of smooth cream on the heavy damp earth and a touch of strength creeping in. Ending at 1:25 minutes the last third ramped the strength to medium matching the body with no profile changes.
