Chamath Palihapitiya Ignorance Portuguese Law

Decriminalising the use of any drugs and prostitution is not the same as legalising or liberalising!
Perhaps if Chamath were to study more about Portugal he would realise that the resources previously used to criminalise drug addicts and prostitutes were directed towards fighting drug trafficking and solicitation (which are still illegal) and the social recovery of addicts and prostitutes, which resulted in a huge decrease in the rates of drug abuse as well as the solicitation of prostitution!
