The Experts Didn't Have It Easy

So earlier today I was out surfing and getting the absolute crap kicked out of me by waves. At one point I must have been paddling out for about 10 minutes and had moved maybe 3 feet.

Then I sat back and looked out at all the guys who were out there riding waves making it look effortless.

It made me mad. These guys were so good.

and then I had an "aha" moment. These guys weren't always so good.

They struggled just like I was at that moment. But they kept pushing through and practicing on a daily basis.

That's what success is all about, pushing through all the failures until you succeed.
