The Prime Minister has announce England's move to Plan B COVID-19 restrictions on the same day he was questioned over whether or not No10 broke coronavirus rules last Christmas.

Mandatory face masks for indoor venues, work from home when possible and COVID passports for events are just some of the restrictions the Government have put in place to try and slow the spread of the Omicron variant.

The Prime Minister's spokesperson Allegra Stratton resigned after footage of her joking with other Downing Street aides about a Christmas party last year while in lockdown was released.
