What is a Dripline?-Protecting Trees on a New Construction Site
2 years ago

Troy was inspecting a new home construction site before the homes are built and he noticed that a fence was installed around a tree's drip line so that no roots will be disturbed and the tree will stay healthy.
The dripline of a tree is the area directly under the outer circumference of a tree's branches. If you imagine a tree like an umbrella, the dripline would be the exact circle on the ground where the dry area and the wet area meet.
