Four men from Uzbekistan cross into the US in Yuma

4 men from Uzbekistan cross into Yuma— They tell me they are all here alone, one heading to Philadelphia, the other three say they are going to New York. They say they would have been killed if they stayed in their country. They say they flew from Uzbekistan— Istanbul — Mexico. Uzbekistan is considered a “Special Interest” country.

Per Homeland Security: A non-U.S. person who… potentially poses a national security risk to the United States or its interests. This does not mean that all SIAs are “terrorists…” DHS says SIAs will undergo heightened screening.
