Buying into a new building in Istanbul to obtain Turkish Citizenship? + Lira devaluation impact

I've been quite skeptical of new builds in Istanbul as a way to invest in Turkish real estate, and to obtain Turkish citizenship by buying $250,000 worth of real estate. However, my buyer's agent Keith, who is fantastic at finding great secondary market properties, wanted to show me that not all new builds are bad. He took me to one such project, that he believes presents reasonable value.
