How Decades Of Democratic Rule Ruined Some Of Our Finest Cities

A few days ago, filmmaker Michael Moore tweeted, “Flint has voted for Dems for 84 straight yrs” and wanted to know, “What did it get us?” He’s actually on to something.

Don’t drink the water in Flint, Mich. Federal and state officials botched a water supply switch there and ended up contaminating the city’s drinking water with lead. It’s a sad and infuriating story that has gone on far too long. It’s not quite a humanitarian crisis -- blessedly, we don’t see many of those in this country -- but it is a mess.

Of course blame has been liberally tossed around. Republican Gov. Rick Snyder has been sued. Moore wants him arrested. (Obviously there's a limit to Moore's ability to think clearly, and he reached it with his Flint tweet.) Some are convinced that the private sector is the villain, because, after all, isn’t it always? The loopy left even says that the Koch brothers are at fault.

Hey, but at least we don’t have to deal with anymore mean tweets, right? What we are dealing with is a systematic dismantling of our country, one reckless move at a time. If one didn’t know better, you would almost think it was deliberate.

Not so long ago, our hopeless, weak “leader” pronounced to the world that “America is back.” Weeks later, we are turning tail and running out of Afghanistan, leaving not only Afghan allies behind but also some Americans.

Our hasty ill-conceived retreat last week cost thirteen brave American heroes their lives, along with countless Afghans.

Joe Biden gets the Trump treatment for Covid travel ban on 8 African nations

Joe Biden made a statement on the Omicron Covid-19 variant that is reportedly spreading at an alarming rate in South Africa. He then announced air travel restrictions to and from SA and seven other African nations. "As a precautionary measure until we have more information, I am ordering additional air travel restrictions from South Africa and seven other countries. These new restrictions will take effect on November 29. As we move forward, we will continue to be guided by what the science and my medical team advises," a part of the statement read.
