Obedience training

Yesterday while trying to take pictures of the dogs I wanted DOG to put his head on the floor. So I got down and put my head down and instead of just his head down he flopped over. So I changed from here down to dead dog. He got it the very first time. This is when Lynn came home and I went to show him what DeeOhGee had learned in just one minute time. Sometimes with obedience training it’s not always about what you teach them. It’s better to turn a wrong into a right. I can always go back later and teach him head down. But it’s amazing how fast this dog can pick up on certain commands. Zak is just not going to sit up. It’s to much like begging and he had to much pride for that. Then DeeOhGee try’s to take the bandaids off the tip of my finger instead of the treat. Thank goodness he takes treats very gently.
