So I been doing the body work on the CJ, got rear body guard panels, wow, they are ¼” thick and fit awesome! I would put them on even if I had a mint Jeep, nothing will dent these things!

Ready for the shaker can olive drab paint job! There were so many shitty coats of undercoat and other paints I gave up trying to make it perfect, I sanded most the grit out and went over it with an orbital and 150, so that's good enough for this Jeep... like I said, NOT a show car :). painted and solid body mounts done!

I also installed the windshield, sorry, no video. The salt in the northeast is ridiculous, they use liquid calcium chloride and its INSANE how it eats up the cars, CT should be sued!!. I got it in myself but the last section wouldn't seat in so I asked a friend to help, well yeah, we cracked it :( glass is way too tight for the frame, I should have pre measured to see if I had to grind window frame.. Haste makes waste!

Took her off road and it did amazingly well! Powerline trails, really rocky and loose stone, mud etc... hell yeah! Next I have to put the valve cover on, windshield wiper arms and blades, visors and put the convertible top on,

Removed the plow front frame, ordered an aluminum valve cover, the plastic ones suck ass. Found mine was cracked and put back on finger tight not to open fracks, but leaking like crazy.

I also picked up a nice soft top and doors locally from another cool Jeeper guy!

Picked up this 82 Jeep Wrangler CJ7 project. She is pretty rusty but the frame is in decent shape, worthy of a quick rebuild, not full off frame resto, custom new diamond plate floors, body panels and paint should be good. Runs great mechanically, needs brake work and calipers, probably U-joints of course.

This 82 CJ7 Wrangler came with the AMC 258ci inline 6 with 115hp @ 3200 rpm and 210 ftlb tq at 1800 rpm. with a GM TH400 (turbo 400) 3 speed automatic transmission, a Dana 300 transfer case, Dana 30 front axle,AMC 20 rear axle and the factory Hardtop.
