so we picked this filter up to replace the filter in our turtle's tank. it was $30 when purchased and has only gone up in price by about 5 bucks since the purchase date of march 2017.

the item works great, the video is mostly about how to replace and clean the tank.

you can reuse filters several times before they wear out and it does a very good job, but if the filters are allowed to clog (like in this video) it can take several cleanings over a couple days to get the full system back in order.
