I win this time! I tried to recruit Serra with Lyn this time, but it looks like she isn't recruitable after all. Oh well, I guess we don't really need a healer to win this war. So to beat this game, don't try to level up the Advance Wars NPCs as they're weak and don't have much stat growth. Only use them as baits and/or blocks around Denning. Also, after you defeat the wyvern squad, go down directly to Kanbei & Sonja while Sami takes care of Aion and the NPC soldiers distract Vaida & Serra.Show more

Normally, I would post a link to where I got the game ROM, but I'm going to keep it secret, because I don't want the Nintendo ninjas to kill that website like they did with Emu Paradise.
