200 protesters gather in Dublin for anti-lockdown protest | Saturday May 1st 2021

Around 200 peaceful protesters gathered in Dublin city centre on Saturday amid significant Garda presence for the latest in a series of anti-lockdown protests. Demonstrations also took place in Cork and other centres.

Chants included:
- "Harris, Micheál and Leo out!"
- "End the lockdown!"
- "What do we want? Freedom! When do we want it? Now!"
