National Geographic has released an episode of Trafficked with Mariana Van Zeller which depicts 1%er clubs nothing more than gangs. The initial conversation regarding this episode had to do with biker rights and getting to know the motorcycle clubs side of the story. Conversations on what everyone thought this was supposed to be about went on for months. Conversations with the SOS between the producers of this show took place as did conversations with myself. All of us thought this was going to be something entirely different then what was shown. Now it’s time to start a campaign to push back on all the media narrative. Her is the episodes description
So this is the basis for the show
Mariana van Zeller goes inside the secretive world of outlaw motorcycle gangs, also known as 1% clubs, when her interest is piqued by a string of biker-related violence. Undeterred by a strict code of silence, she interviews members of three major clubs, as well as ATF agents and cartel contacts, to learn about the bonds of blood and brotherhood that fuel these groups.
