This 5.5x52 stick features a dark chocolate firm and densely packed wrapper, oily very toothy feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, faint bread and musty barnyard aroma with a large double cap. First light reveals a completely open draw with mild-medium smoke output showing a complex flavor mix of natural sweetness, bread, pepper and a dark cocoa joined by a sweet light earth through the long finish. The first third quickly shifts to a perfect draw with thick rich medium-full bodied smoke showing the same profile by amping up the pepper a good bit especially on the retrohale. 1/2 way in at 35 minutes the ash drops in a solid chunk and the performance in unchanged. Ending at the nub at 1:10 the last third burned perfectly and slower, shifting flavors to a medium body of a smooth earth and coffee, dropping all but a touch of pepper on the finish while a medium strength kick joins in.
