Padron Reserva Millennium Cigar Review

This is a very special limited edition cigar which will be available for sale shortly after this video airs. The original Padron Millennium celebrated the year 2000 and was already a top shelf cigar with many years of pre-roll age on the tobacco. The initial release sold out quickly and was a hit. However, Padron reserved 4000 of them for a later date - now. What we have is a Millennium that now has 16 years of humidor age on it, that will be sold in special 4 packs. Expect the price to be above $100 for the pack. It's a 6x52 box pressed stick with a dark brown wrapper, a thin delicate appearance and almost a wet look. Buttery smooth, it has minimal veins, tight invisible seams and a single cap. First light reveals an exceptionally smooth oily thick smoke with full body producing flavors of a deep earth, straight tobacco and big black coffee through the long finish. The draw is completely open with no resistance and smoke output is high. The first third comes down to a medium-full body while flavors get more complex. The deep coffee is still there joined by a sweet cream and cocoa all lasting through the smooth finish of the same. Hitting the 1/2 way point at just 20 minutes from the very fast and loose draw/burn, flavors remain almost the same with just the sweetness turning to a cinnamon. Ending at 45 minutes the last third burns slower, obviously reaching some different tobacco in the last bit. Flavors take a turn going to a bitter coffee, dropping the sweetness cinnamon and cream. A big pepper comes in for a spell which then shifts to a slight anise. Quite a shift and a much deeper darker profile to end it.
