Moose Racing Adventure Seat Solo - Low Profile DRZ400 install and review

As everyone knows, the stock seats on dual-sports are very narrow and uncomfortable to ride on for long periods of time, so I ordered a Moose Racing Adventure Seat Solo - Low Profile to see how it will do.

Well, I am VERY disappointed with just about everything about the seat (except for the covering) the seat base is a poor design with zinc coated metal tabs that rub against METAL on the gas tank of all places, and the lower hook near the CDI box is also metal. That is not the worst part, the rear tabs that bolt the seat on were almost 1/2” too narrow and the rubber feet that keep the seat elevated above the frame and airbox were over 1/4” too high and the trim looked horrible with the huge gap above the side panels. Total FAIL all the way around.

For a $355 seat, you'd expect a lot better quality... I rate this seat a 1 star out of 5, the seat material and foam was nice, but that is about it.
