20211206 - Liberty Minute

I'm Peter Serefine and this is the Liberty Minute for Monday, day 631 of 15 days to slow the spread.
After 631 days, does anyone care that the omicron variant is in a third of states already? Oregon apparently does. Democrats there are considering making the indoor mask mandate permanent.
The Bipartisan Policy Center said the federal government could start missing bill payments by December 21st if the debt ceiling isn't raised. Just like every year, right before Christmas break Congress will pass some huge bill stuffed full of BS. Hey Congress, if you would pass a complete budget on time this wouldn't happen every year and if you cut spending you wouldn't have to raise the debt ceiling.
You know what, cutting out-of-control spending would help we the people a lot more than raising the debt ceiling. Cut spending and the record inflation might slow down. Cut spending enough and we the people might get lower taxes. Oh, there's the rub. We the people can't be controlled if the government gets off our backs and out of our wallets.
