This 5.5x50 box pressed cigar features a dry, soft slightly bumpy medium brown wrapper with a few small veins, tight invisible seams, double cap, a light pack and a peppery chocolate aroma. First light reveals medium-full body with flavors of a slightly sweet earth, oily, smooth tobacco, a bit of pepper on the long finish, a perfect draw and tons of rich chewy smoke. The first third continues along the same lines adding a creamy chocolate that really takes over on the draw flavors. Body is up to full, it puts out a mouthful of flavor with absolute ease on every single draw. 30 minutes in at the 1/2 way point all the 1st third flavors are still going but it added a faint black licorice and a substantial deep espresso flavor that really mixes well with the little bit of pepper on the finish. Ending at 1 hour the last third brought up the earth and really ramped up the mouthfeel and after taste, ending with a big heat in the throat just like doing a shot. Construction was flawless all the way to the nub!
