Padron 1926 No2 Natural Cigar Review

This 5.5x52 box pressed belicoso cigar features a dark brown oily, slightly toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a rustic tip roll, an even slightly spongy feel and soft buttery tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw, tons of thick rich smoke giving full bodied flavors of a smooth, soft musty tobacco with a bit is spicy zing on the tongue and a long creamy textured finish. The first third shows the same full body flavors of the musty tobacco adding a deep dark coffee and bringing up the pepper and spice especially through the oily finish. Burn is almost razor sharp, draw is absolutely perfect and smoke output is exceptionally thick, voluminous and rich. 25 minutes in at the 1/2 way point the ash falls off in a solid chunk, flavors are almost unchanged from the last update, just adding a subtle creamy chocolate to the mix. Construction is flawless. Ending at the 1 hour mark the last third drops the tobacco and pepper, bringing the coffee and chocolate to the front, with a bit of strength but no where near full. This stick had a couple years on it in my humidor and had mellowed a bit.
