Jeep bucking, hard shift, missing, hesitation 2.4 liter fix. Patriot, Compass Problem solved!

So my dads Jeep was sputtering, bucking and missing like the engine was shutting off and back on quick, doing research we found some said it was the spark plugs, well, it WAS, and it also was on Vees Jeep too!
Easy fix, takes less than 20 minutes with a T-30 Torx and a 5/8” spark plug socket. Stock gap is .044” we set ours at .040” to compensate for wear and that bucking in the future.

This fix probably works for other dodge chrysler fiat 2.4 engines... Chevy Ford Honda Toyota? .. Never know

Work done so far on the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon MW3:

Repaired the sway bar disconnect.

Found out the clock spring is under extended warranty through Jeep, so it is replaced free if defective. So is the left cylinder head...

Mountain goat series 3” spring lift

Joyroad MT200 35” tires. They work GREAT! This is the 2nd Jeep I installed them on (CJ7) and I think they are GREAT!.
