Remo Snare Drum rebuild (Do it yourself)

Take the time to work on things that you feel can be achieved, In this video I walk thru a Remo snare drum rebuild. At one point the tone of the drum changed and sounded terrible so I placed it on a shelf in my mom's basement. When I found it years later it occurred to me that the lugs had become uneven and decided I'll fix it myself . Bringing it to a pro shoppe would have cost $95.00 parts and labor,, my cost $40.00. I figured if I screw this up then I'll bring it in to the drum shoppe and let the professional drum tech do the repairs, I had nothing to lose by trying . So glad I went ahead and did, the feeling of gratification with the end result was terrific .Remo still makes world drums that are very good but the drum set sector did not do very well.
