So this is a great keyboard for under $100 ($70 to be exact).

My only real gripe is that the amazonbasics gaming software is not currently working for this item. It comes with a disk, but I do not have an optical drive hooked up to the this desktop...because it throws of the lines of the computer case (nerd vanity). As a result I was not able use test the full functionality of the keyboard.

The keyboard uses Outemu mechanical blue switches, which have a deep sound when used, so the keyboard is noisy, but it feels So good to use. Every keystroke feels much more deliberate when gaming. I have never used Cherry MX switches, but I hear that they are higher quality and quiet.

Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and even as I type this the difference between a membrane keyboard and a mechanical is vast. The mechanical keyboard is a massive improvement and Amazonbasics seems to have made a very high quality product.

The body is plastic, but the top of the keyboard appears to be aluminium, which is a nice touch.
