Octopuses are mysterious deep sea hunters. Octopuses are not cute pets at all. They have neither legs nor fins. Instead, they have serpentine arms covered with suction cups - eight or ten dangerous tentacles that grow from their heads. To add to their quirky appearance, they are soft, flabby, with no vertebrae or bones. In case of danger, they emit ink with an unpleasant odor. They arose even before people walked the earth; from primitive times, before fish colonized the oceans. Therefore, it is not surprising that these cephalopods seem so strange and confusing to us.
