TRAIL NAME: PEAK FLOW and STARFISH

Makara bike park is located close to New Zealand's capital, Wellington. A few minutes drive from the city center and there is a lot of shuttle options to choose from. Makara's trail is carefully designed to fit a variety of ages and different riding styles.

Peakflow trail is a flowy blue trail, good for your first warm-up run before hitting the techy kinds of stuff and one of the go-to trails especially if it is your first time in Makara Bike Park.

Starfish is a blue technical trail, a mixture of rock and rooty features, and a couple of jump lines in between. It is a good trail to end your ride.

Mountain biking has always been a part of me since I got myself into it. Originally, being from the Philippines, I previously did not have the liberty of both time and resources to explore it until I got here in New Zealand in 2016. This is the ride we had over the weekend at one of Wellington's finest - Makara Bike Park. Riding the trail is always better with friends!
