Tuttle Twins Review and Speedpaint

“Tuttle Twins” is a new indie cartoon making its way on the scenes, but it’s different from other works I’ve covered, even indie works.

What exactly makes it so different? Because it’s a cartoon that goes out of its way to teach the valuable lessons of FREEDOM and ‘MERICA!! … Well, not really “‘Merica”, per se, but it’s obvious that the cartoon has a specific political statement to make.

But as we know, all artistic expression is political in some ways, and we also all know that only a certain political view gets amplified by the establishment entertainment industry these days.

That being said, I’m perfectly fine with cartoons that have a message to send. The question is: Is it good, or is it preachy schlock? And how do you get your message across without becoming schlocky?
