A pipes fix at TV minister Joel Osteen's megachurch in Houston supposedly prompted the revelation of "packs and sacks" of money and checks in a washroom divider.
The revelation came quite a while after somebody took $600,000 in real money and checks from a protected at Osteen's Lakewood Church, as indicated by a report from KRPC Channel 2. The station proposed that whoever took the cash in 2014 may have been covered up it in the restroom divider.

A handyman named Justin, who works for a huge worker for hire, told the station he got a call about a free latrine at the congregation on Nov. 10.

"Justin said he began chipping away at the latrine and needed to eliminate the tile and protection," the station reports. "When he eliminated the protection, he found around 3,000 envelopes loaded with checks. Some had cash in it. Justin said he called the congregation's upkeep director and needed to remain at the congregation for very nearly seven hours."
Houston police agents later addressed Justin and eliminated the remainder of the divider, finding "packs and sacks" of cash and checks.

"Justin said the congregation or HPD never expressed gratitude toward him or connected with him about $25,000 reward cash," the station detailed, alluding to the prize that was offered following the 2014 robbery. "Justin said he even called Crime Stoppers about remuneration cash, yet all at once never heard back. He even given arriving at a shot to Joel Osteen however hasn't heard back."

A delegate from the congregation affirmed the disclosure in an assertion.

"As of late, while fix work was being done at Lakewood Church, an undisclosed measure of money and checks were found," the congregation delegate said. "Lakewood quickly told the Houston Police Department and is helping them with their examination. Lakewood has no further remark as of now."
In 2014, Houston police said $200,000 in real money and $400,000 worth of checks were taken from a protected at the congregation. At that point, the congregation said the taken cash addressed assets that were contributed during one few days of administrations.
