邨內有8座樓宇，由周啟謙建築師樓設計，
民泰樓在1981年入伙，其餘7座在1965年落成。
承建商是香港平民屋宇有限公司。
邨村有一個私人的花園，不對外開放。

大坑西邨民興樓。Man Hing House.
有一個很獨特的建築物。A strange construction.
