2006 Land Rover LR3 V8 Project (Part 1)

We start the LR3 project, first testing out the air suspension, which we find a blown fuse. Once we replace the fuse, the air suspension raises the LR3 as designed. In a future video we'll figure out why the fuse was burnt. We raise the suspension up to offload height, then remove the fuses. After letting it sit over night, we find both front air bags sitting on their bump stops. This makes us believe the air block/manifold will need to be replaced or rebuilt.

Next my 14 year old son starts removing the entire interior of the LR3 on his own while my daughter and I work on the white Touareg. He finds a disgusting mess and signs that the sunroof drains have been leaking. He gets all the carpet out and cleans the floor pan and it looks completely different. We pressure wash the carpets and floor mats and the color of the water is surprising.

While we have the interior dismantled, we remove the head liner and clean it and replace the broken sunroof. We also replace all 4 sunroof drains with clear tubing and new generic grommets. The video finishes with us testing the sunroof water drains.
