Lewis and Clark 1805 Replica Tomahawk | The strange tale of the L&C 1805

I don't know if these tales are true, but I found these tomahawks in a thrift store and searching the internet has yielded only small bits and pieces of their origins and the journey that took them from the Fort Clatsop bicentennial celebration to a Goodwill store. Let me know if you have any other clues, or if you know the real story behind hundred or thousand of really crappy Lewis and Clark replica tomahawks being donated to thrift stores.
