Thinking Thru Scripture Ep 7: Moses, God's Friend. God's Deep Desire to Know You is Forever at Work

In Exodus, we see Moses interested in God, keen to be in relationship while the people are happy to move between God and a metal calf made out of gold. There seems to be no difference between the two in the people's perspective. For God, the difference is vast. Moses meets God intimately and God speaks of Moses as his friend. God does not have many friends. Not many care. Moses does. So does God. The cross places us all in the realm of God's friendship that we, like Moses, can relationally experience God's goodness.
