Materials Needed.
Minimum of one side (give or take) of 3 to 6oz Leather. I prefer to go thinner for the gussets, and thicker for the flaps, straps, and tabs.
Minimum length and width of 12" by 1-1/8" Zipper
2x 1-3/16" Lock Clasps.
2x 1-1/4" Center bar Buckles for main flap closures.
2x 1" D-rings for top handle.
2x 1-1/2" D-rings for shoulder strap.
2x 1-1/2" Swivel snap hook for shoulder strap.
2x 1-1/2" Center bar buckle for shoulder strap.
One square foot of sheep's wool if you plan on doing the padded shoulder strap.

If you'll be adding the backpack style straps you'll have to add the following.
5 square feet of leather for the simpler version, or 9 square feet of leather and 2 square feet of sheeps wool for the padded version.
2x 1" D-rings for small backpack tabs.
2x 1-1/2" D-rings for large backpack tabs.
2x 1-1/2" Swivel snap hooks.
2x 1" Swivel snap hooks.
2x 1" Center bar buckles.

If you plan on doing the low ride bag, for a gear bag or disc golf bag style carry add the following to your backpack strap list.
2x 1-1/2" Center bar buckles.
