Spot on Wednesday

From our point of view it was just a silly old man strolling along the road cane in hand.

The night before have been rough on the neighbors although the lake was known as vacation destination.

I'd rather be lost at the lake than be found at home.

He knew we were standing there watching him, but yet he had this look on his face that was hard to describe.

Fear...

Again with the point of view.

What we saw from our stance and what he saw from his were completely two different realities.

We saw nothing unusual, what he saw was nothing usual.

He was terrified.

We continued to laugh and giggle.

As he poked at it with his cane, then the movement startled him.

Without warning it rose up high enough for us to see.

Remember that there is a view to deal with between where I stand and peer out and what you look at from yours.
