Podcast Update & My Thoughts on Corona Virus

Nothing groundbreaking in this video, but in light of the current 'shelter in place' rule to fight the spread of Corona Virus, I wanted to give a bit of an update in regards to my podcast, the Voice of Electronic Music, and the current state of the music scene in San Francisco.

To summarize, I've got a few episodes of the podcast that are unreleased and will be releasing them while I work on getting a proper quality video conferencing setup going. That way we can continue the conversations while also socially distancing as much as possible.

I've sort of found it a bit difficult to be creative because I'm currently out of work as Halcyon has closed for the foreseeable future. There's so many headlines and news updates it's sort of hard to focus. You'd think having all this time in the studio would be a fantastic time to crank out some tunes, and hopefully in time it will, but for now my brain is sort of overloaded and I want to not stress myself further in this already difficult time.

Have you been able to make music while all this is going on? I seem to be able to do more menial tasks like video editing, but the hyper creative part of me seems a bit depleted. Let me know in the comments below!
