On this episode of Bad Comic Reviews: We're looking at issue 528 of Action Comics, published by DC Comics from 1982. This issue is from Volume 1 of the title, which began in 1938. This issue is part 1 of a 3-part story about Brainiac's planet-eater.

While Clark Kent sits in a meeting about the possible sale of the Daily Planet from its parent company, Galaxy, Brainiac hurries to find Superman. One of his old creations, which he thought destroyed, has become a ravenous planet consuming monstrosity! Meanwhile, in the back-up story, Aquaman arrives on a world of mostly water where he finds octopus-people beset by the Land Masters!

Written by Marv Wolfman, pencils by Curt Swan, inks by Frank Chiaramonte, colors by Gene D'Angelo, with letters by Todd Klein. Back-up story written by Bob Rozakis, pencils by Alex Saviuk, inks by Frank Chiaramonte, colors by Tom Ziuko, and letters by Phil Felix. Cover pencils by Rich Buckler with inks by Frank Giacoia.
