Notary Knowledge; useful tidbit of the week for Florida residents to know!

In this short video we discuss the need for one to two witnesses on documents like Powers of Attorney divorce papers and quit claim deeds. We as notaries in Florida can provide one witness but you will need another. Because there are two of us in this together we can bring an additional witness for a small fee. Also for notarizations where you don't have an ID present, you can supply a witness who will testify to your identity and that is sufficient for Florida laws requiring notarization. Likewise if you are personally known to the Notary Public or Signing Agent (like us) you don't necessarily need an ID either.
