In this video I'm going to explain what the ending of The Last of Us 2 means, and how you can make sense of it all. The game does a very good job at making the player feel all kinds of emotions, and take you through the 5 Stages of Grief. Could it be possible that Ellie has found some level of peace or forgiveness, and that Joel heavily influenced Ellie's choice to forgive Abby, even though Joel was initially her motivation for revenge?
