The CDC updated Pennsylvania's COVID-19 vaccination rate due to a data error and it lowers the states vaccination rate by 5%.

The CDC originally said 73.7% of Pennsylvanians 18+ had been vaccinated and the updated number is 68.9%. The change was made to remove duplicate counts similar to duplicate votes in the election.

This is no small number and the total is 1.2 million doses of the so called vaccine. Infections, hospitalizations and intensive-care unit cases are all on the upswing in Pennsylvania, as well as many other states even with vaccination rates rising and vaccine efficacy dropping.
