A SCENE FROM A MOVIE ABOUT POPULATION CONTROL. DOES THE MOVIE SCRIPT SOUND FAMILIAR?

Now this scene was taken from a movie called "ONE BY ONE" which was Rik Mayall's last film that was just released before his sudden death after. The scene is talking about the reduction in population. It may resemble some things that you see happening within your life today.

A brief description of the whole movie shows a cafe worker that is confronted with some truths about population control, that this world may be on the brink of destruction, revolution, or both.

Now the only downside to this movie is that it does not provide any solution to death. However, there is a solution to death and it is by the finished work – the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus is still the hope of the nations today and is still reaching lost souls today.

God wants us to live forever with Him, which is why Jesus Christ came. He died on the cross for us, dying a death that He didn’t deserve so that, by faith in Him, our sins could be washed away forever, and we could live forever with Him. He is calling out to all that are in need of Him today, so harden not your hearts, but allow the King of glory come in today.

2 Corinthians 7:10 "For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death"

REPENTANCE PRAYER

Precious Jesus,
I acknowledge today that you are LORD and Saviour of all mankind, and today I have recognized my shortfall,

I repent and turn away from all sin. Please cover me with your precious blood, and establish your word in my life, that I may be found in righteousness and holiness and write my name in your book of life and baptize me with the power of the Holy Spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Amen.
