The Fear of God

The Fear of the Lord leads to life,
And he who has it will abide in satisfaction;
He will not be visited with evil. - Proverbs 19:23

Dear friends,
I am sharing my journal entry from this morning on the Fear of God.

This is what I wrote -‘The Fear of God’ 🖊

The growing fear of God will change your life and will draw you closer to Him.

Truly your thoughts revolve around Him, pleasing Him.
Because along with the great love for Him … there is a terrifying fear of His Majesty.

Every deep and rare encounter with Him …. will leave a beautiful wound on your heart, a wound of love. ♥️

As though a wild lion struck with His paw and left its mark. Yet that very mark now becomes your treasure …

That wound caused you to feel more deeply … the waters of compassion drew in, like a balm covering the site that was struck.

And now you hold your hand upon your lacerated heart … remembering the intensity of His presence.

He cripples the flesh.
He brings us to our knees.
He is formidable …
Do not take Him lightly …
He is the Lord God Almighty.
