"It was quite extreme how much distress had been caused to their bodies needlessly". Psychotherapist Stella O'Malley talks to Tim Jackson about testimonies at the first-of-its-kind de-transitioning conference where people who had undergone surgery to transition gender spoke of their regret, their experiences, and what supports are required for people with gender dysphoria.

The conference - “Detransition: The Elephant in the Room. Medical Ethics in the Age of Gender Identity” - was held in Manchester, England on December 2nd.
