Red Shetland : The Cartoon

Back in the late '80s and early '90s, when Furry Fandom was just getting going, there was a comic book parody of "Red Sonja" which reimagined the world of Conan the Barbarian as a goofball funny-animal farce. It lasted for about a dozen issues, as did its companion comic "Equine the Uncivilized".

There was a brief window wherein it was popular enough - for a black-and-white comic of its era - to spawn this animation project, initially aimed at getting a proposal for a Saturday Morning cartoon in front of the networks. Given the amount of blood and such, however, it would never have had a chance until the "Adult Swim" era came around. As one of the original financial backers, I'm posting this little-known animation lest it be lost to history - for good or ill.
