87.5 Kgs x10 Bench Press. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT.
Not a bad set, but I think it could have gone much better.
For some reason, I was really struggling to get in to proper position to set up my arch, it was like something subconsciously was blocking me. You ever had an experience when you repeatedly can't swallow, for aome unexplainable reason, and can't figure out why? Yeah, it was a bit like that.
I Also lost time and energy/mojo struggling to get the music and everything set up. I am going to have to do more prior prep work, to make sure I have a good setup, so things go smoother.
I could feel my form was slipping/trouble keeping shoulder blades retracted in the last few reps, so that definitely played a role. There is always room for improvement!
Not disappointed per se, though. 10 reps was my minimum goal, so at least I got that 🤟🏻
