Electric Poultry Fence Installation

This fall, we purchased electric fencing to allow a larger space to free range while being protected from predators. Our laying hens quickly exhaust the grass in their tractor between moves, so this gives us an opportunity to extend the space, especially during the winter when there is less for them to forage on. Additionally, it's a great way for us to introduce new chickens to the flock so they have room to move around. We also show you our preferred solar energizer to avoid running extension cords for the electric fencing. It works great!
