The Black Knight | (Unofficial) Trailer (Sonic and the Black Knight/The Green Knight Crossover)

Hello guys! Today, I have a crossover trailer of “Sonic and the Black Knight” with @A24’s “The Green Knight”! As much as I don’t like @A24’s films (what with them being mostly unsettling, much less horrifying), I do love Arthurian Legend! I love the show Merlin, and I especially love Sonic and the Black Knight; for no particular reasons... Seriously, you could say it is one of my favorite (official) crossovers of all time. So when I discovered the official trailer for The Green Knight, I was (at the very least) intrigued. But as I kept coming back to it, I kept thinking of how it could look good when crossed over with Sonic and the Black Knight. I mean, they’re technically both a part of the same universe (that being Arthurian Legend), so it makes sense! And this video is the ultimate product of this vision. In universe, this is supposed to be a darker retelling of the events of the original Sonic game. Which, don’t get me wrong, sounds cool! It’s just a shame we might never actually get something like that though… Anyways, since this is Sonic and the Black Knight we’re talking about here, I had to mostly use the storybook-like cutscenes. While it’s not ideal, I made it work. It all gives off that uneasy tone that @A24 is so good at implementing in their films. Not to mention, I've come up with an in-universe explanation for their usage. However, I’m not going to share it with you, because I’ll probably make it sound more confusing than it needs to be (Autism can be such a jerk sometimes…), and because I’m that mean. Sorry, not sorry! Apart from that, there’s not a lot of editing stuff I can really talk about with this. The only thing that really deserves to be talked about is the keyframes. Yes, I am now using keyframes. I mostly just used them on the texts and the stickers and stuff, but it looks so good (if done right) regardless! I’m really proud of it, and I hope I get the chance to use it more often with my (and possibly others’) videos.
