Female hybrids

Hybrid females build very good nests and lay eggs, usually unfertilized ones. Female hybrids are very good brood hens, and they can be entrusted with feeding other people's chicks. Males are also usually sterile, although they copulate with females. In the nesting life, they always take the most active part. Female hybrids differ from males in a dull color.
