WHO names new 'variant of concern' Omicron

The World Health Organization released a statement saying that a new Covid-19 variant discovered in South Africa is a “variant of concern.” US stocks fell and oil prices plunged more than 10% as the emergence of the new variant, named Omicron, rattled global markets. CNN’s Elizabeth Cohen,
